作品以一位加拿大留学生在南京四年的生活经历为线索，将长江作为连接异乡生活与故乡记忆的情感载体。受到加拿大作家玛格丽特·劳伦斯对自然书写的启发，项目通过摄影记录毕业前夕的长江及其沿岸景观，探索人在迁徙与停留之间如何借由自然建立新的情感联结，以及一个陌生的地方如何逐渐成为记忆中的另一处“故乡”。
A moving image project about displacement, nature, and belonging.
Following the four-year experience of a Canadian student living in Nanjing, the work approaches the Yangtze River as an emotional connection between life abroad and memories of home. Inspired by Canadian writer Margaret Laurence's depictions of nature, the project photographs the river and its surrounding landscape on the eve of graduation, exploring how connections to place are formed through nature, and how somewhere once unfamiliar can gradually become another form of “home.”
